​Position: Architectural Associate

​

Destree Design Architects, Inc. has an opportunity for an Architectural Associate with experience in both commercial and residential projects to join our team of architects, project managers, specialists, and interior designers. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and a proactive self-starter who is interested in working at a dynamic Madison office with opportunities to contribute to a diverse range of design projects.​​

Duties:

  • AutoCAD & Revit Technician – projects include – Commercial design and renovations

  • Develop renderings

  • Produce design development, construction documents, spreadsheets, specifications, etc.

  • Interpret, read and correspond construction plan information with team and project manager

  • Provide construction administrative support and shop drawing review

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in architecture field

  • Revit Proficiency

  • AutoCAD Proficiency

  • SketchUp, Lumion, & Escape experience is a plus

  • Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator experience is a plus

  • Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) experience

  • Ability to interpret building codes and construction documents

  • Familiar with construction methods, both interior and exterior

  • Ability to create working drawing sets

  • Knowledge of architectural drafting industry standard procedures

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to self-direct your schedule, multi-task and prioritize your day, and communicate/function as part of a design team.

  • Experience performing in a deadline-driven environment where accuracy and timeliness are critical.

Education Required:

  • MArch, Bachelor of Science in Architecture or Technical College Degree in Architecture will be considered
