WISCONSIN SCHOOL OF BUSINESS STUDENT SPACES

Re-envisioning 10,000 sf of the 2nd floor at the Wisconsin School of Business to enhance the student experience, transform the undergraduate admissions office, create a state-of-the-art general assignment classroom, new student study area, and upgraded toilet facilities.

Prospective students and their families ascending the primary atrium staircase are met by a branded undergraduate admissions feature wall along with full-height glass, allowing visibility into the bright greeting area with exposed ceilings and acoustical baffles. The adjacent conference room and huddle room offer flexible meeting areas for staff and families, while the back half of the suite houses light-filled private offices. Continuing down the atrium corridor, an additional conference room features an acoustic wood-look slat wall.

The renovated general assignment classroom provides seating for 138 students, walls lined with markerboards, acoustic wall treatments, and a raised flooring system supplying power to each student. Outside of the classroom, a built-in power charging bar leads to the newly designed student center. The student center features sound-absorbing wall and ceiling products, wood screening, greenery-filled planters, and a variety of study areas for 60 students, including breakout rooms, study carrels, booths, and a banquette. Destree also refreshed the existing restrooms and created two new single-user accessible toilet rooms.
